Martinez is in Player Pool for World Cup Qualifers

La Sierra University men's soccer player Peter Martinez got an unexpected call this week, the Puerto Rican Men's National Team. Needing another Goal Keeper for their World Cup Qualifiers this weekend, Martinez found himself on a plane for Puerto Rico Wednesday morning.

This call up not only makes him available for National Team duty this weekend, but it also puts him in the player pool for upcoming World Cup Qualifiers in November, Friendlies, and the Olympics.
