The men's basketball team dropped to 1-5 on the season with the loss. Saturday night's non-conference game was the second of four straight road games for the team.

The Golden Eagles hit their first attempt of the game to take a 3-0 lead which proved to be their only lead in the game. Midway through the first half of play, the Warriors team defense and relentless attack, helped them take control of the game, as they enjoyed a 49-30 advantage at the halftime break.

The second half proved to be more of the same as the Golden Eagles were unable to slow Westmont's transition game.
