Saint Katherine's second half goal, held up for a 1-0 victory over the Golden Eagles, in Friday's match. The Golden Eagles fall to 3-4-2 on the season and remain 2-0 in Cal Pac play.

Carlos Lozano made six saves in goal for the Firebirds and thwarted some prime scoring opportunities. Javier Lopez had four saves and Noe Galindo had four saves of his own with one goal against.

With a conference match approaching in the weekend, the Golden Eagles turned their attention to Pacific Union. The Golden Eagles men's soccer team outscored the Pioneers 10-2.

Abel Cornejo, Israel Vasquez, and Ivan Villagrana led the way with each of the scoring two goals. Villagrana's second half goals came within a minute of each other. Juan Bakchellian, Mario Calderon, Manuel Zendejas, and Mathew Saavedra all picked up a goal to aid in the dominating offensive performance by the Golden Eagles. The win against Pacific Union College brings the Golden Eagles record to a 4-4-2 overall and 3-0 in conference.

The team will now focus on their conference match, Friday afternoon, versus Embry-Riddle (AZ).
