The Golden Eagles picked up their third win of the season and first road win of the season beating West Coast 96-82 Saturday night. The Eagles trailed for the first 30 of the 40 minute game, finally taking their first lead with 7 minutes to go. The Eagles trailed by as many as 18 in the first half as well as 12 in the second half with 13 minutes remaining. La Sierra then caught fire, scoring 64 second half points and cruising to a 14 point victory.
The Warriors were led by a career night by Uriel Lejtman who finished with career highs in points and rebounds as he finished with 37 points and 15 rebounds to lead the team in both categories. Duane Darrett added 18 points, and Ivan Ebunike had 16 points and 8 rebounds.
