After Ivan Villagrana broke through with the Golden Eagles' first goal, 17 minutes into the match, the flood gates opened with Sierra Nevada only being able to counter one goal the entire match. The Golden Eagles defeated Sierra Nevada, 9-1, for their last home game of the regular season, improving to 7-3 in conference. In what seemed like a lopsided field, La Sierra dominated possession time and limited Sierra Nevada to just three shots on the day, outshooting Sierra Nevada 27-3.
After Villagrana's goal, Abel Cornejo and Mario Calderon added two goals of their for the match as well.

Men's Soccer Playoffs:
The 6-team championship will be played at UC Merced on Nov. 13, 14, 16. Five of the six spots – though none of the seeds, are secured. The Cal Pac has two NAIA post-season bids: one goes to the regular-season #1 seed, the other to the tournament winner. If the #1 seeds wins the tournament, the other finalist gets the second bid.
