The La Sierra Golden Eagles outscored West Coast Baptist by 19 in the second half to cruise to a 106-88 win for their second win of the season Thursday night. A very close and competitive first half saw West Coast Baptist lead for most of the half and extend that lead to 8 with seven minutes remaining in the half. The Eagles closed with a run to cut the lead to one and at the half, West Coast Baptist led 43-42.

La Sierra dominated the second half and run the lead up to 21 before settling with a final score of 106-88. The Golden Eagles had five players in double figures and were led by Uriel Lejtman who had 20 points and 9 rebounds. DJ Everage notched his second double-double of the season with 16 points and 11 assists. Brian Whitfield added 14 points, Ivan Egbunike had 11, and Ethan Davis came off the bench to have 10 points and 9 rebounds.

The Eagles, now 2-2 on the season and 2-0 at home try and keep the home winning streak going as they take on Westmont College, Saturday night at 7 pm.
