RIVERSIDE, Calif. – La Sierra's women soccer team faced California State University Maritime (Vallejo, Calif.) in a Thursday match under the lights. Goalie, Savannah Velasquez played the full 90 minutes helping her team keep their 5-0 shutout.

The Golden Eagles took a total of 37 shots on goal, sinking 5 of them. Citlalli Pedraza was first to strike in the game, scoring the only goal in the first half. She was assisted by fellow forward Alyssa Felix. Pedraza had a total of 14 shots on the game.

Felix quickly kicked off the second half with a goal in the first 22 seconds assisted by Leslie Lopez. Pedraza followed that with her second and third goals of the game, earning herself a hat trick. Pedraza's third goal was assisted by Isabel Iniguez. La Sierra's final goal came three minutes short of the 90 where Lopez found the back of the net herself with the assist from Iris Navarro.
