RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Sophomore Anthony Garcia has made a place for himself in La Sierra history by setting the new record for most goals scored in a single season. After last night's matchup, Garcia now has a total of 21 goals, passing the previous season high of 19.

Garcia completed this feat by tying the previous record of 19 with his first goal of the night. Determined to break the record, Garcia shot a banger into the net to become the new record holder of most goals in a single season in La Sierra history. Still adding to this count, he scored his third and final goal of the game completing a hat trick.

The record now stands at 21, but with two more regular season games and playoffs, we can only wait and watch to see where Garcia will stand at the end of the year.

Garcia ended his 2021-2022 season with 17 goals with his highest game total being 3. In the 2022-2023 season, Garcia has three games with 3 goals or higher.
