Career: Lina is entering her third season with the Golden Eagles...last season Lina was 2nd on the team in kills with 342 with a hitting percentage of .224...she averaged 3.05 kills per set...Lina's season high was 17 kills which she reached twice, once in a win over Hope International and another in a win over Menlo College...she also had 59 digs and 35 blocks during her sophomore year...in her freshmen season Semaia played in 27 matches...2nd on the team with 243 kills (2.61 kpg)...she had 81 digs and 21 blocks in her freshmen campaign...prior to attending La Sierra University, Semaia played volleyball and basketball at Rancho Alamitos High School where she was named First Team All League her junior and senior years and made the honor roll as well...cousin Tirah Le'au is a sophomore volleyball player at the University of Georgia and cousin Asi Faoa played football at UCLA (1999-2002).
