In Game 1, the Golden Eagles enjoyed a 3-1 heading into the fourth inning, but that's when Bethesda started a string of scoring at least one run in four straight innings. Bethesda scored 9 total runs over those four innings on their way to victory.
Dakota Heredia led the team with two RBI's, while Matt Zurita finished the game going 2-for-4. John Salinas and Freddy Rivas each finished with a hit and an RBI.

Game 2 was a predetermined seven inning game, that once again saw the Golden Eagles take a 3-1 lead in the early going on a three-run homerun by Heredia.
La Sierra added runs in the third and fourth innings, and two more runs in the sixth, taking a commanding 7-1 lead into the final innings.
Despite giving up two runs in the seventh inning, La Sierra was able to hang on for the victory, giving Victor Mena the win. Mena pitched a complete game, giving up three runs on five hits, while collecting nine strikeouts.
Matt Valenzuela finished a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate and scored two of the Golden Eagles seven runs. But it was Heredia who finished with four RBI's, while scoring a run and tallying two hits in three at-bats. Antonio Lopez came off of the bench to hit a pinch-hit single that scored two runs.
