Riverside, Calif. - William Jessup's Racie Carrel led the game off with a homerun, but it was all Golden Eagles after that, as they cruised to an 11-2 win in Game 1 of today's doubleheader. William Jessup answered back with a convincing 13-0 victory in Game 2, to even the score.

Brittany Martinez (3-for-3, 3 RBI's), Genifer Garbellini (2-for-3, 3 RBI's), and Berlyn Benavides (2-for-3, 1 RBI) tallied all seven hits and collected all of the Golden Eagles RBI's in Game 1.

Vanessa Froussine pitched five innings, giving up two runs on seven hits, while picking up the victory.

Game 2 proved vastly different, as Jessup's Randi Anderson, who gave up no runs and allowed just one hit, stifled La Sierra's offense. Benavides picked up the only hit of the game for the Golden Eagles, who are now 4-16 on the season.

The team will have a quick turnaround, as they will play host to Martin Methodist College starting at 11am tomorrow, starting at 11am.
