Riverside, Calif. - The women's soccer team picked up their second win of the season by defeating Mills College, 2-0, this afternoon at La Sierra Field. The Golden Eagles defeated the Cyclones earlier this month for their first win of the season. La Sierra improved to 2-5 on the season with the victory.

Jennifer Gonzalez and Andrea Sida accounted for both goals in the match. The first goal came just 6:45 into the match, when Elizabeth Ortiz found Gonzalez streaking down the left wing and put it away. Sida found the back of the net on a penalty kick awarded to the Golden Eagles after Gonzalez was plowed over inside the penalty box.

Lauren Holly picked up the victory by surrendering no goals and stopping eight shots.

Next up for the women's soccer team will be two Cal Pac matches this coming week starting with Thursday's road match at the University of Antelope Valley. That match will be followed by a Sunday match-up with Simpson University.
