The women's basketball team picked up their third straight win since kicking off their season two week ago. Sunday, November 3, they traveled to San Marcos, Calif. to take on the University of Saint Katherine, defeating them 100-71. La Sierra is currently 3-1 overall with conference being twelve games away.
Siena Jones set the tone for the Golden Eagles by making the first point from behind the arc. De'Brianna Hampton had a solid performance scoring 24 points for the Golden Eagles offense.
Freshman, Luiza Rodrigues, logged her first triple-double of her collegiate career. Rodrigues scored 11 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds to lead the Golden Eagles in their dominating performance against the Firebirds.
