Golden Eagles to Host ERAU in GSAC Semifinals

RIVERSIDE - La Sierra men's soccer team is set to host Embry Riddle Aeronautical University on Friday, November 7th at 1:00 PM P.T. in the Semifinals of the GSAC Championship.

La Sierra is the top-seed in the bracket and will face the number four seed. The two teams just recently faced each other on October 30th where La Sierra came out victorious in a 3-2 win. The winner will move on to face either the number three seed Benedictine University Mesa or the number two seed Arizona Christian University on Tuesday, November 11th hosted by the higher remaining seed.

Both semifinal contests will stream live on the GSAC Sports Network, available as a Smart TV app or online at GSACSportsNetwork.com. Tickets can be purchased in advance at tickets.gsacsports.org.

La Sierra, the regular-season champion, claimed the No. 1 seed after finishing 10-3 in GSAC play and 12-3-1 overall. The Golden Eagles enter the postseason riding a seven-match winning streak and have outscored opponents 36 –18 in GSAC games on the year. Their regular-season finale was a 3–2 win over Embry-Riddle on October 30, securing the top spot and home-field advantage throughout the tournament.
