RIVERSIDE - Congratulations Masaya Nitta on being named the Golden Eagle of the Week.

Masaya competed against Providence Christian College for his senior game. He spent the first half in the goal for the Golden Eagles keeping a scoreless game. The Golden Eagles won 5-0 cementing a spot in the postseason.

With 29 saves on the year, Nitta scored his first goal as a Golden Eagle. A Providence foul in the box drew a penalty kick for La Sierra. Masaya had the opportunity to take the kick and found a place in the net. Solidifying a great end to his career.
