RIVERSIDE - The California Pacific Conference has announced the women's soccer athletes that have exceeded in their prospective positions and awarded them with the highest awards at the end of the season.
The Cal Pac has awarded Elaina Gonzalez to Second Time All Conference and as the Champion of Character. Monserrath Arellano-Ayala, Aryanna Ulloa, and Aliztel Razon were the Honorable Mentions awarded to La Sierra.
Elaina Gonzalez joined the Golden Eagles this season and has made her mark on the team. She has appeared in 14 games with 10 starts. On the season, she has four goals including one game winner and one assist. Elaina's goals come from games against Stanton University, Cal Maritime, and two against Pacific Union College. Her assist also came against Cal Maritime. Gonzalez was awarded Champion of Character which is given to the individual who are the best examples of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant-Leadership during the 2024 season.
Monserrath Arellano-Ayala was named as an Honorable Mention by the Cal Pac. She appeared in 14 games with 12 starts. On the year, she scored three goals and had one assist with a shot percentage of .500. She's scored goals in games against Benedictine University Mesa, Cal Maritime, and Providence Christian College where she also picked up her assist. The defender has been one of the Golden Eagles top scorers of the season.
Senior Aryanna Ulloa was named as an Honorable Mention in her final season as a Golden Eagle. This season she appeared in 14 games with 12 starts. She scored one goal with four assists on the year. She scored a goal against Providence Christian College, and her four assists came from games against Benedictine University Mesa, Cal Maritime, Pacific Union College and Providence. In her career, she's appeared in 53 games with 48 starts for two goals and six assists.
Ali Razon was the final Golden Eagle named as an Honorable Mention by the Cal Pac. Ali dominated in the goal this season, and was a big component to women's soccer success. She's appeared in 13 games with 12 starts. Razon has totaled 1090:18 minutes in the goal for 57 saves. Razon will return to the Golden Eagles next season to continue her incredible run in goal.
